Whiting, Lauren

My name is Lauren Whiting, and I am so excited to be your child's Kindergarten teacher. We are going to have a fantastic year! I attended Belhaven University for four years. While attending Belhaven University, I played collegiate volleyball and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. I am from Southaven, MS, where I have lived my whole life. Some of my favorite things include: sports, the beach, Disney, and spending time with my family and friends.

Daily Folder:

In your child's folder, you will receive classwork, homework, and be able to see their behavior calendar. Please initial the behavior calendar every night. This folder is also another way for you and I to communicate. We ask that all notes to us, transportation changes, lunch money, and field trip information be placed in your child's zipper pouch.

Transportation Information:

If your child has a change in transportation, I must have a signed note from a legal guardian stating how he or she will be going home.

Lunch:

Lunch is $2.75 for students and $3.75 for adults. If you send in lunch money for your child, please place the money in your child's zipper pouch that is in their daily folder. Please label the money - "For Lunch."
