About the Teacher/Welcome Msg

I believe that school should be an enjoyable experience for all children. My goal is to make learning fun, interesting, and personally relevant to each of my students. I hope we can work together to make your child's school year a happy and successful one!

Education

I received a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Mississippi and a Master's Degree in Dyslexia Therapy form the University of Southern Mississippi. I am also a National Board Certified in the area of Exceptional Needs Specialist.

Experience

I have been with Desoto County Schools since August of 2000. This will be my 13th year as special education teacher and my first year at DCP.
