About the Teacher/Welcome Msg
Welcome to Mrs. Phelps' and Mrs. Michelle's first grade class!
I am very excited to have the opportunity to teach your child this year. I attended Desoto County Schools all of my life and completed my education at the University of Mississippi. My husband and I will celebrate our 27th wedding anniversary this fall. We have two grown children who attended Desoto County Schools. This is my 17th year to work for Desoto County Schools and my 8th year at Desoto Central Primary School.
I encourage parent involvement and am always willing to discuss your child's progress, as well as address any questions or concerns you may have. Please feel free to contact me by calling the school at 662-912-1300 or emailing me. I check my email at least twice a day and will respond as quickly as possible. Email is my preferred method of communication.
