I am originally from Chicago and moved to Southaven 7 years ago for my husband’s job. I was a stay-at-home mom until my son started Kindergarten, which is when I began at DCPS as an assistant. My son is now in fifth grade, and I have been married for 14 years. I have a dog named Molly Mae and a turtle named Tito. I volunteer at Tunica Humane Society and love to foster dogs during our breaks from school. I had a big surgery three years ago which left me with a colostomy bag; this keeps me from eating a lot of foods, but I still live life to the fullest. I am so excited to be Desoto Central Primary as your second-grade teacher. I promise this year is going to be epic!

Hi, my name is Kayleigh, and I cannot wait to be your assistant this year. I was born and raised in Southaven, MS. I went to DeSoto Central from kindergarten through high school and I love being a Jag again and working with some of my former teachers.
I have four brothers and even though I am the only girl in the family I promise I was not spoiled. I am currently in my twenties and loving life.
I am very involved with my church, Hope Chapel, where I sing and teach Sunday School. I also love animals and dog sit in my spare time. I cannot wait for this year to see all our kids grow and learn
